| Congratulations to Brittany Chao, a Cornell Biology major with a Microbiology concentration, who is the newest Gates Cambridge Scholar. Brittany is one of 40 U.S. students who will attend Cambridge University on the scholarship, which supports post-baccalaureate study in any field to students from around the world. Brittany has conducted research on tomato pathogens in the laboratory of Professor Alan Collmer in the department of Plant Pathology and Plant-Microbe Biology. At Cambridge she will earn an M.Phil in Biological Science in the Department of Pathology. |
